ELYRIA, Ohio -- I journeyed to 135-acre park Cascade Park in Lorain County outside of Cleveland because I heard about the waterfalls, ledges and primitive natural trails. The venerable site is well positioned for a long and successful second act. Purchased through federal funds, the metro parks are able to preserve the stream bed but it must remain in its natural state. It is a great addition to this fun garden designed specifically for kids.
